The Novavita Project funded by the DPO (Joint Call to grant for the implementation of interventions for victims of trafficking and severe exploitation) has proposed to offer continuity to the activity of first contact, prompt reception, first assistance, orientation of people included in the assistance and social integration programs, foreseen by the art. 13 of the law 228/2003. The reference target referred toe "NOVAVITA" project is represented by foreign people and/or citizens of EU Member States who wish to avoid violence and the various types of exploitation, sexual, labour, begging, illegal activities.

The project has been implemented in several phases:

• First contact activities;
• Ready to welcome;
• Protection (legal assistance and various advice);
• Protection (health and psychological care);
• Connection with the national anti-trafficking toll-free number.

The Project has been extended until 31/08/2016.
